U6, 2014 (Howick Minor Soccer)

The U6 team is playing super together!  The team tries their hardest every game and it pays off!  Our last game against Listowel was a nail biter, but our team kept going and won.  The team is starting to pass more and work really well together.  They are learning more every game.  Defence is working hard to protect the net.  Our forward are racing to score.  Great work everyone!  Keep having fun!

The team played against the Newton Tigers #2 on June 4th at the Milverton Arena.  What a game it was!  The team was working well together.  Everyone was working hard.  We were down one player and the team really pulled together.  We only had 5 players to start, and then part way in, we had our 6th.  The other team had a lot more players, but ours never gave up.  I think almost everyone on the team scored a goal!  The defence was ready when Newton did come to our end.  The goalies did awesome!  The forwards were weaving in and out of the other players getting right through them.  Excellent ...

U6 played on our home turf on May 28th against Listowel Cresent Care. The team played well together.  Everyone was working hard!  Even with only 6 players playing against 12 we were able to win 4-1.  The forwards never gave up, they kept chasing the ball and putting pressure on the Listowel goal keeper.  The defence did a good job being ready to defend our end.  Great effort team.  Keep up the good work!

The Howick U6 team had their first game on Wednesday May 21.  Our other game had been canceled due to weather.  What a game it was!  The players did a fantastic job!  We won against Elma Team #1 with a score of 4 - 0.  The players played really well in the heat.  Our forwards were working really hard to score. Defense did a great job keeping the ball out of our net.  Good work players!
