Howick wins home opener 3-0
Howick came home after starting the season on the road with a loss and took it to Palmerston winning their home opener 3-0.
Cole Shefter and Nigel Versteeg split the goaltending duties picking up the shut out.
Austin English hammered 2 goals and assited on the third. Nigel Versteeg had a great goal in the first half going round the defender.Assits went to Syd Pruden and Danika Whitehead.
Coach Al has been working on the Defence and the D came up with a huge game. Great job defense.
We are starting to get a better idea of positions and where each player should be. Every player played great!
