U8 - Team 1, 2014 (Howick Minor Soccer)

Congratulations to our Howick U8 #1 team for winning the Division B Championship on Sat!

The U8 year end play-off tournament will be held at the ELMA School soccer fields. The play-off schedule will be set based on standings after all regular season games are played.  We know that each team will get 3 play-off games in total.   We may have one of the games on Tues July 23 and two games on Sat July 27 OR we may have all 3 games on Sat July 27. 

Due to the weather we have had on Tuesday nights this summer, we have 3 games to make up in the next couple of weeks.  Please be sure to mark your calendars so that we have a full team to play with.  Tammy has done a great job sending out reminder emails - don't forget to read those!!

Our game in Listowel tonight has been cancelled due to inclement weather!  We have rescheduled for JULY 14 @ 7pm.   I have added the rescheduled games to our Team Calendar... if you are linked in you will see these on your home calendars. See you Thurs for practice!

The team has been playing very well lately!!  Fundamental soccer skills are coming along and I am sure a "header goal" is on to horizon... which means ICE CREAM for everyone ;)
